Challenge College implements a KS4 Skills Passport
To make the step up to KS4, Year 9's at Challenge College must complete a skills passport. Collecting flags and signing off skills as they demonstrate them in school has proved an excellent way to raise pupils motivation and raise the 'skills' profile with staff, pupils and parents as the year 9's 'earn' their way to KS4.

Are you looking for ways to improve your schools implementation of PLTS? The Critical Skills link to PLTS document gives a framework for teaching these explicitly and a means of assessing them both within the classroom and across school.
